newfangled take on chap fan. good eating, in small portions. northern china soul food basically, but easier on the mala than other places. mapo tofu operates right on line, in that respect. kicks hard, sets mouth on fire, but just about leaves you with sensation. lots to like if you dig hot and sour. pickled cucumber and lotus root are reliable veggie options in that respect. spicy fish soup was underwhelming. fish and kiam chai were fine, but overall chalky texture detracted from experience. free and freeflow of soup, beverages and ice. first is hearty, so definitely scrape the bottom of the barrel here. also good place to park, during off-peak hours, for that reason.
Nice n affordable price of chinese food, air conditioned and food portion is fair, 3 of us are full with 6 dishes and we enjoyed it
Came all the way from Puchong to try this place, and it was absolutely worth it! Food: I’d give it a perfect score because the ingredients are fresh, and there’s a wide variety. Service: The staff are very friendly and even help you get your food. Environment: Super clean, with staff constantly tidying up and wiping tables. The space is spacious, comfortable, with cold air-conditioning, comfy seating, and they even provide free soup and water. Highly recommended!
Clean, spacious and well organized. This self service restaurant sells the most value for money mainland Chinese dishes in mini bowls so you can try many different dishes at one go without breaking your wallet. Staffs are friendly and drinking water is free ⭐. Wide variety of dishes is available till midnight giving those who finish work late a hearty and warm supper. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Whenever we visit KL, this is our go-to spot. With a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from, plus complimentary soup and tea. Although it is free, the soup is incredibly sweet. Their weekday promotions make it even more worthwhile.
